Xiaomi had entered the Indian market a few months back and since then, it has taken the mobile market by storm with its smartphones. Its Redmi 1S has been a huge hit in India and in other countries as well, however, yesterday the company announced the Redmi 2 in China, which is priced at 699 Yuan.
The Redmi 2 has a 4.7-inch, 1280 x 720 display with a 64-bit Qualcomm 410 quad-core processor. It flaunts an 8-megapixel rear camera, improved 2-megapixel front camera, 1GB RAM and 8GB on-device storage. There is now dual 4G SIM support too.
The Redmi 2 runs on the Xiaomi ‘s own MIUI ROM and offers two color options – Lime Green and Powdered Yellow.
