Galaxy A7 is Samsung’s thinnest smartphone ever


We have already seen Samsung’s two metal smartphones and now we have got a chance to have our first look at the Galaxy A7 as well, thanks to TENAA. The online listing of the phone confirms metal body, as well as spills some juicy information about the specifications of the phone. First spotted by PhoneArena, the phone is Samsung’s thinnest Galaxy smartphone till date. According to the online listing, the phone measures 150.9 x 75.9 x 6.3 mm, which is almost half a millimeter thinner than the Galaxy Alpha.  It’s fairly light too, at 133 grams the phone weighs less than several Galaxy smartphones. On the specifications front, the handset comes with 5.5-inch display with 1080p screen resolution. Inside the device sits a 64-bit capable 1.6GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 chip, which comes coupled with 2GB of RAM, and non-expandable 16GB of internal storage. On the camera side, there is a 12-megapixel shooter at the back, and a 5-megapixel snapper upfront. It runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box.
