Sony launches Cyber-shot DSC-HX50V 20.4-megapixel camera with 30x Optical Zoom in India for Rs 22,990


Sony India has launched what it calls the world’s smallest and lightest 30x optical zoom camera, called the Cyber-shot DSC-HX50V. The camera is available in India for Rs 22,990.

In terms of design, the Cyber-shot DSC-HX50V is just 108x64x38mm in size and weighs in at 272 grams. Specifications-wise, the camera sports a 20.4-megapixel that supports a maximum resolution of 5184×2920 pixels with a 1/2.3″ BSI CMOS sensor and 30x Optical Zoom capabilities.

The camera features in-built Wi-Fi and GPS and includes 3-axis SuperSteady Shot image stabilization and can shoot at up to 10 frames per second for 10 frames. It also comes with a Lithium-Ion NP-BX1 battery, which Sony claims is good for around 400 shots-per-charge.
