Sony Xperia SP launched in India with 4.6 inch HD display and Android 4.1 for Rs. 27,490


Sony has launched the new Xperia SP in India at a price of Rs. 27,490 and will start shipping from mid-April.
The smartphone comes with a 4.6-inch 720p HD display and is powered by a 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus dual-core processor along with 1 GB of RAM and Adreno 320 GPU. The Xperia SP comes with an 8 GB of internal storage which is expandable upto 32 GB via microSD card.

In terms of Camera,  the phone has an 8-megapixel auto focus lens with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera.

This phone by Sony runs on Android 4.1 Jellybean and the company has promised for an update. For connectivity, the phone comes with WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC,  as well as GPS with Glonass and sports a 2370 mAH battery. The phone feels rather light with a weight of 155 grams.

The phone will be available in two colours –  black and white and the company is also giving a phone case worth Rs. 1,990 for free with the Xperia SP.
